Wanted - New Treasurer

After many valuable years our current Treasurer is stepping down - we are now therefore seeking a key person to join our team. You don't need to be an accountant, or a financial guru. Just someone who can find there was around a set of accounts, understands double entry book keeping and can get to meetings. The actual work involves one or two meetings a month and about half an hour of actual work a week. Music rehearsals are held once a week on Tuesday evenings and start in early May. A concentrated period of ‘production’ rehearsals follows from late September up to the production dates in November.

Parts to play with HAOS are many and varied. Ways in which you can help are with costumes; or props; or make-up; or as part of the stage crew. There are also other tasks also to be undertaken.

Stage crew move the scenery around during the run of the show. They also move it in to the Theatre prior to the run of the show, and, at the end of the week — move it all out again! Not a job for the faint-hearted but one which gives much satisfaction and, for those who wish to be involved but not in the ‘limelight’, an opportunity to work on the big stage.

Wardrobe and props too are always ready to make use of your talents.
