" I’m delighted to share some lovely news with you all. Following the Community Inspiration Awards 2026 shortlisting, I have been selected as a FINALIST for the Duty to the Community Award at the 14th Community Inspiration Awards 2026! 
This award recognises someone who has shown dedication to serving their community “through thick and thin” and making a positive difference.
I’m incredibly honoured and humbled by the recognition. Although my name is on the nomination, I see this as a reflection of everyone who has been part of the HAOS journey. 
Over the years, so many colleagues, friends, volunteers and partners have supported the work we do to improve the lives of children, young people and families across our communities. Your encouragement, hard work and belief in what we do have all contributed to this achievement.
The awards ceremony takes place on Friday 25th September 2026 at the Al Miraj Banqueting Suite, Birmingham, where the finalists, runners-up and winner will be announced.
Whatever the outcome, I’m incredibly proud to be representing HAOS and our community. 
Thank you to everyone who has supported me and HAOS along the way — this recognition means a lot.
