Once we’d decided to run the foodbank project we needed to find some money to run it. We applied for £2500 from the Heart of England Community Foundation to meet some of the costs. We were bowled over when they told us they loved our proposal and gave us 5 times more money than we asked for because they were ‘so greatly impressed’ by the project.
So, we’ve been able to keep the foodbank running for 6 months until schools were open again in September. Thank you Heart of England! Your help has helped us help hundreds of families who really needed it.
