And the shield trophies are back as our YPP delegates return to present their social action campaigns in front of our panel of esteemed judges to compete to win the 2024 Dennis Edward's Awards.

- debate practice and discussions on what makes a good MP!

Our Young Peoples Parliament is our core annual project that is open to all our member schools. We work with over 100 young people every year over three school terms to provide knowledge, skills and opportunities to participate in local decision making. The exciting programme includes meeting with MPs, local elected members, decision makers in other public services and with local community leaders.

Each participant works in a team with other children and young people from their school with support from a mentor/teacher and the HAOS team to plan and deliver a social education/action project relevant to the local neighbourhood of the group members.
