Introducing the Handsworth Association of Schools' Green Mentor

HAOS has added a Green Mentor to work in our schools

Handsworth Association of Schools has added a Green Mentor to work in our schools.

We have appointed our new Green Mentor who has started to recruit Green Influencers across Handsworth.

Stephen Whitehead has taken up the role and has already engaged the first group of schools. The intention is to engage local young people in issues relating to climate change and environment and develop leadership skills so they can become leaders in their own areas helping create a wider impact on their peers and communities.

The project runs until March 2023, and we are actively looking to find ways of extending and continuing this kind of work.
