James Watt Primary Green Influencers recently enjoyed an exciting and educational visit with our HAOS Green Mentor, to the Staffordshire Energy Recovery Centre, where they discovered how everyday waste is transformed into energy that powers up to 66,000 homes. During the trip, the children explored the plant and learned about the journey of waste and the importance of reducing landfill. They also took part in a hands-on recycling workshop, where everyone had the opportunity to create their own recycled notebook—bringing sustainability to life in a fun and memorable way.
